12/24/2022 0 Comments Low pass rf filter designer![]() It accomplishes this with low insertion loss while isolating the receive signal path from interference caused by the transmit signal path while also suppresses out-of-band signals on both paths. DuplexersĪ duplexer is a 3-port Radio Frequency (RF) filter component which is used in Frequency Division Duplexed (FDD) systems which enables sharing a common antenna between the transmit and receive paths of a radio communications system. For high performance Diplexers which in the past would have used Air Cavity filters, ClearPlex can be tailored for use in systems requiring up to 50W average / 500W peak input power where smaller size and PCB surface mounting is desired. ![]() These two families (XCBC and DPX) can flexibly be used together to create 3-way and 4-way multiplexer. The DPX family supports power handling up to 3W average / 20W peak power per band. We offer numerous challenging band combinations while sharing a universal footprint. For diplexing of very closely spaced bands, we have our DPX family of diplexers which offer multiplexing of bands which are very difficult to frequency combine. The XCBC products have low insertion loss in small size, but with power handling up to 6W average / 60W peak power per band. For diplexing of widely separated bands, where a true Low-pass filter (LPF) / High-pass filter (HPF) is required, we have our XCBC family of Cross-Band Combiners. ![]() CTS has a number of different diplexing technologies. This differs from a duplexer which combines the uplink and downlink portions of a single band. DiplexersĪ diplexer is a 3-port Radio Frequency (RF) filter component which is used in multiband systems which enables sharing a common antenna between two distinct frequency bands where each band encompasses both transmit and receive. We also offer “split-band” 5GHz BPFs which allow 2 radios in a single system to operate on simultaneously on different UNII sub-bands. We also recently added various compact and economical 5GHz filters which support the full output power level allowed including products for vehicle-to-vehicle / C-ITS / 802.11p, LTE-U / LTE-LAA / LTE-LWA, NLOS, and WiFi applications. Our newest breakthrough offers full families of BPFs which share a universal-footprint so that a common Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout can be populated with a duplexer for any major FDD frequency band without any modifications. At every performance level, CTS BPFs offer superior Size, Insertion Loss (IL), and Rejection. Our ClearPlex products can support TDD applications requiring up to 50W average and 400W of peak input power handling. CTS ceramic BPFs are especially well-suited for use in indoor and outdoor TDD Small Cells from Pico Cells to Metro Cells as well as Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Active Antenna Arrays / System (AAS), Remote Radio Heads, and other wireless infrastructure systems as well as Military, Public Safety, and Aerospace solutions.ĬTS offers a range of BPF performance. BPFs are also commonly used in other RF systems including FDD systems on either the transmit path or the receive path. The most demanding BPFs are used in the RF front-end of Time Division Duplexed (TDD) systems at the antenna port. Band Pass FiltersĪ Bandpass Filter (BPF) is a 2-port Radio Frequency (RF) filter component which is used in a RF signal path to pass a specific range of frequencies and to suppress (attenuate) the frequencies on either side outside of that range. in those instances when ITAR compliance is required. While we manufacture most of our RF ceramic filters in our own factory in China, we are the only company with full capabilities to manufacture RF ceramic filters in the U.S. These durable and dependable filters are utilized in diverse wireless infrastructure applications (DAS, Small Cells, RRH, repeaters, and Macro basestations) as well as customer-premises equipment, specialized mobile user equipment, intelligent vehicles, military, public safety, satellite systems, and space applications. ![]() We have also created ClearPlex®, a new type of RF filter based on our proprietary ceramic waveguide technology which supports even better performance with nearly twice the Q-Factor, even higher power handling, and have excellent Passive Intermodulation (PIM) performance. As the inventor of the ceramic monoblock (1982), CTS has a unique intellectual property position which enables us to deliver the best ceramic RF filters: lowest Insertion Loss (IL), highest attenuation / rejection / isolation, highest Q-Factor, smallest size for specified performance, highest power handling (average and peak), and sharpest transition slope. ![]()
